Zachary can't remember a time that he hadn't belonged in the employ of Lord Kelzen Starsunder. Reserved and soft spoken, he lives and would die for his Lord.
A scandal drove him and his Lord from Kelzen's home in Sareth. Kelzen's powerful father removed his son to a family holding in the north, far enough from Sareth to keep Kelzen's activities from disgracing the family further.
Shortly before being forced from the posh life of mingling in the noble circles in Sareth, Lord Kelzen hired into his staff what has become Zachary's nemesis in the form of the outspoken and brutish Curtis who strives daily to gain Kelzen's favor. The rivalry amuses the dark Lord Starsunder greatly.
Lord Kelzen’s abrupt departure from Starsunder Keep weighed heavily on Zachary. As days turned into weeks and weeks into months with no word from his Lord, Zach’s mental state began to waver. The arrival of Kelzen’s older brother, Lucas, gave Zachary a new purpose. Lucas Starsunder is now Zachary’s focal point and his life continues much as it always has, in the employ of a Lord.
