Description: Having cropped his hair to a more acceptable length and donned a shirt, Tempest has less of a wild man appearance, although the eye patch will always cast a rather disturbing air about the red-headed man, considering it is screwed directly into the flesh and bone around the empty socket.
Standing just above 6 feet in height, the loose-fitting shirt does little to hide the play of well-developed muscles beneath the pale cotton. Leather pants along with sturdy boots and the occasional matching black leather vest, are accentuated with a few shiny O rings and complete Tempest’s bland ensemble.
While his body and aura are rugged, his features possess an unearthly and sensual cast that is typical of those in the close-knit Masque Family. Not even the sinister, iron-bound eye patch detracts from the surreal handsomeness, rather it lends a bad-boy charm all its own. His remaining eye is a rich crimson color, glowing with a fierce and possessive pride each time Tempest’s gaze lands on his white-haired lover, Rook. Deeply burnished hair now hangs just below his shoulder blades and is more often than not, tied back with a length of cord, in an attempt to tame the wild strands.

Not much is known of Tempest before becoming enmeshed in the Masque Family. No one seems to know where he came from or exactly when he arrived in Ravnglade.
Not one for idle conversation, a sinister reputation has cropped up around the often silent red-head, with individuals filling in the blanks with their own imaginative answers. Talk of him being a devil incarnate or a cruel elemental wearing nearly human flesh, is whispered behind hands when he makes a rare public appearance: always in the company of Rook, never alone. Although some gossip around town will lead you to believe he's known Rook for many years, others will vehemently deny this, insisting that the one-eyed man swooped in and swept the notorious Rook off his booted feet recently. Some remember a time when Tempest had two eyes and tell of fight with his lover when Rook accidentally blinded him, those same individuals often attribute Rook’s excessive use of the drow drug, tanbrosh, to the unfortunate event.
What is known is that his current relationship with the fickle Rook is turbulent; frequent public fighting, often turning extremely physical, is witnessed as equally as displays of genuine affection. It’s rumored he’s a very jealous lover, trying to keep Rook on a short leash since their whirlwind wedding.
