In 2001, two people got to know each other. Even though living on opposite ends of the United States, they became close over the internet and forged a friendship stronger than any other. They came from different backgrounds, one was born a sociable rebel, the other a quiet preacher’s kid. But they shared a story in the late night hours and they built a world.

Within this site is that story. It is a chaotic and wild ride through the imaginations of two twisted individuals. They write about what they want to write about – sometimes it is dark and unforgiving, sometimes it is romantic and erotic. It can be funny, maddening, somber or even cruel. They write about topics they find interesting, not necessarily about what sells books.

But that doesn’t mean they don’t want to share.

As I awoke this morning, my gaze landed upon the beautiful form of Temptress sleeping beside me. It had been the third time we had slept, each time after exhausting our bodies together as we tried to extinguish the heat of lust that burned within ourselves. I couldn’t help but look down at her full lips, always a seductive red and shimmering in the morning light that drifted lazily into my bedroom. Those two delicious petals were parted slightly, allowing a soft inhale and exhale of air as she slumbered. Her curls were a disheveled nest, some of them lying across her face. Possessed of an unknown force, I had to reach forward and brush them aside to reveal more of her skin to the kiss of the sunlight. She was, and always would be, the most radiant creature in the universe.

The slave was bound naked to the floor, drugged so her screams would not interrupt the painful enchantments soon to be cast. Black, slender hands finished creating the runes that encompassed a fifteen-foot circle in the middle of the necromancer’s laboratory. Matron Jysdiira stood silently within the circle while Szin worked, Ilmeth remained at her side, his impassive face gave no indication of his thoughts.

Szin brushed the remnants of chalky powder from his hands. “I’m afraid this is going to be painful, Matron.” His look was one of professional regret.

Jysdiira inclined her head, she knew it would be. Ilmeth helped her to the wide, metal gurney and saw her comfortably settled on it while Szin began a low-pitched chant in a language unknown to either the dragondrow or her companion.

It was a glorious morning. The bright sun cast distinct shadows across the white limestone of the Palace, disturbed only by the faintest of breezes. The wind coaxed the leaves of the tropical plants to dance in rhythm to the melodious tunes that the garrulously colorful birds sang to their mates. The sun kissed every color of the rainbow, on leaves and petals and feathers, as life bloomed anew. Early spring was announcing its triumphant return by bringing brief afternoon showers and abundant vibrant energy to all that inhabited Fayre Isle.

A quiet hush fell over the palace as the soft rays of the moon bathed the structure in gentle silver light.
